Student Success Statement

Be True

" I am not bound to win, but I am bound to be true. I must stand with anybody that stands right, and stand with him while he is right, and part with him when he goes wrong."- Abraham LincolnImage result for Abraham Lincoln

This quote means that you're not always going to win but you can always be true with yourself and others. For example Abraham Lincoln. Abraham Lincoln left a book in a cabin he stayed at and it was raining. The book was soaking wet and he borrowed it from his neighbor. He worked in the corn field to pay off what it was worth.
Abraham Lincoln also said that he rather starve than to make a poor person waste what they don't have. Abraham Lincoln was always being true. Being true to yourself  and working will make you succeed. It is always important to be true!
