Class Evaluation

1. Some things that I liked about this class are that I learned things that are wrong and things that are right and I learned how to type without seeing the keyboard.

2. I really liked the class I learned a lot.

3. I don't think that this class has to improve, its a good class.

4. Yes I am reading my Life Planning Goals Journal at least five minutes daily because there were some goals that I set for my self and I accomplished them.

5. I am committed on being a CTR person 24/7 because choosing the right can lead you to the right path.

6. What I learned from this class that I will pass forward to others to teach and help them is to always choose the right and never choose the wrong.

7. Something that I will remember from this class is Mr. Haymore telling us to always choose the right.

This quote means that making a goal will help you. For example the kid in video that was playing basketball. His goal was to make 96 pointers in 5 minutes. It took him a lot of practice. He wouldn't be that good if he didn't practice. He practiced everyday and got better each day. Every game he had he made a basket. People should make a goal because it will help them. If they are in a sport they should set a goal and they will become better. It is always to set a goal. 

Trauma Nurse

Duties and Responsibilities: A trauma nurse works in the emergency room of a hospital and typically responds to the most critical and life-threatening cases.

Salary: The hourly wage for a trauma nurse is between $20.40 and $38.65.

Education: In order to become a Trauma Nurse you need an RN degree and then earn a certification program in trauma nursing.

I think I wouldn't like to be one because I wouldn't be able to work with doing surgery.

Head up

"Always keep your head up"- Lizbeth Orante

                                       

This quote means to keep your head up no matter what. For example, if your going through a tough situation. Things may be hard but it doesn't mean you have to stop trying. People need to fight for it and not stay there doing nothing about it. People always have to think positive. People shouldn't waste time thinking about what they could've done differently. If people bend their head they're going to think that you are not strong enough. You have to show them that you are strong by always keeping you head high and not bend. People shouldn't let anything get to them, they should always keep good posture. It is always important to keep your head up.

Memorial Day

     

Memorial Day is a day on which those who died in active military service are remembered. The holiday, which is currently observed every year on the last Monday of May, will be held on May 28, 2018. Some ways to honor and respect on Memorial Day are volunteer to lay flowers or plant flags at your local Veterans cemetery, sponsor a thank-you bouquet, flying a American Flag using proper mourning etiquette, attend a Memorial Day parade near you, etc. The observance, which begin in the years following the Civil War, was originally known as Decoration Day. I will watch a Memorial Day parade on T.V. 

Reflection: Memorial Day is a day we remember the people who died in the military service. They fight for our country to get freedom. Memorial Day is celebrated in late May because that's when flowers are likely to be blooming across the country. Memorial Day is known as Decoration Day. Memorial Day was a response to the unprecedented carnage of the Civil War.

This characters are important because there could be peace in the world.For example, if you help someone. If you help them, they are going to be thankful. There are some people that don't  thank others. People should always care for others.There are some people that don't care for others. If other people did something to them and didn't forgave them and something is happening to that person they wouldn't help them. People shouldn't be like that because they wouldn't like that people would do the same thing. People are old enough to know what is right and what is wrong. It is always important to choose the right!

Duties and Responsibilities: Sports Medicine Therapist are physical therapist who specialize in the treatment and rehabilitation of sport and athletic injuries. These therapist typically have completed graduate-level education in treating and rehabilitating injured athletes.

Education: In order to be a Sports Medicine you need a Doctor of Medicine(M.D.) Degree.

This quote means to always for give no matter how much anger you have towards that person. For example the mom of the girl that died in the car accident. The guy that crashed into the girls went to jail. He was going to be in there for a long time. The lady got a letter from him and he apologized to her. The lady read the letter, went to the judge and told him to give half the time he was given. So the  judge did and the lady went to see the guy at jail. When he came out he went to go give a message about drinking and driving at high schools. He said that he didn't care were he needed to give the message at, people needed to spread the message. people shouldn't be drinking and driving. It is always important to choose the right. Remember, always forgive no matter how much anger you have towards that person!

Speech Pathologist

Duties and Responsibilities: They communicate with patients to evaluate of speech or language difficulty. They teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices. They also teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, to patients with little or no speech capability.

Education: In order to be a Speech Pathologist you need to earn a Master's Degree.

People should always tell the truth all the time. If people don't tell the truth, there are going to be people that are not going to believe them anymore. It is always to choose the right. Duties and Responsibilities: Social Workers are responsible for helping individuals, families, and group of people to cope with problems they're facing to improve their patients' lives.

People shouldn't  judge other people without knowing who they really are. She did something right for herself and that was standing up for herself. There are people that just other people keep telling them things to not start and argument. It is always important do what is right even though you have to stand alone.

Duties and Responsibilities: Respiratory Therapist interview and examine patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders. They monitor and record the progress of treatment. They also teach patients how to use treatments.

Education: In order to be a Respiratory Therapist you need a Associate degree.

Duties and Responsibilities: Reiki aim to channel healing energy around the client's body. They help people feel calm, relaxed and have a better sense of well being.

Duties and Responsibilities: A reflexologist's basic duty is to diagnose the body map for pressure levels and detect the acute stresses points. Reflexologist should know reflex points of hand, feet and body to provide accurate pressure.

Education: In order to be a Reflexology you need a certificate and an associate's degree.

It is better to try your best. If you get something wrong in the test, for example in a math test, you could ask for help. Duties and Responsibilities: Registered Nurse treat and care for patients. They provide emotional support and advice to the families of their patients. Some registered nurses pursue a specialization.

This quote means that you must choose the right to feel good about yourself. For example, the video that Mr. Haymore showed us about a man who was homeless and a lady gave him money. The lady didn't realize that her ring fell when she gave him the money. The homeless man didn't trade the ring or anything he saved it until he saw the woman again to give it back to her. The lady was so happy with the homeless man that she and her husband made a fundraiser for the man for what he did. So basically the man had self dignity because he didn't do anything with the ring instead he saved the ring until the rightful owner came to him. It is always important do what is good. It will make happy when you do the right things. It also important to choose the right.

Teen Challenges

1.  Some major challenges teens deal with today are self-esteem and body image, stress, bullying, depression, cyber addiction, drinking and smoking, teen pregnancy, underage sex, child abuse, peer-pressure and competition, and eating disorders.

2. A major challenge that I'm dealing with is stress. School is what stresses me out. I stress about having my work done. I am trying to keep up with everything.

3.Being a CTR person helps me because I really try my best.

4. I will help other teens overcome their challenges by talking about their situation.

This quote means to always do what is right. In the story of the softball game. There were two schools who were playing against each other. The schools name are Western Oregon and Central Washington. Sarah Tucholsky was a player at Western Oregon and she was going to make her first home run, but she got injured. Two players from Central Washington saw that Sarah need help and they helped her out. The two girls from Central Washington are called Mallory Holtman and Liz Wallace. They both helped her get back up. There are a lot of people that are in teams and they don't help people. It is really rare to see people do that because some think that just because they are not on their team they shouldn't help them out. People should help other people out. It is really important. When some people need help and others help them they, are really thankful.

X-Ray Technician

Duties and Responsibilities: X-Ray Technician takes radio graphic images of specific parts of a patient's body. They need a through understanding of imaging equipment and x-ray procedures. They are required to interact with patient's. They should also have solid communication skill.

Salary: The median salary is $56,670.

Education: In order to be a X-Ray Technician  you need a certificate or associate degree; bachelor's or master's for advancement.

The 10 Indian Commandments

The 10 Indian Commandments are basically about respect and being responsible . For example the third commandment. The third commandment is like saying if you want respect, you should respect. There are some people that don't show respect at all. Those type of people are the people that expect respect back but they don't get any respect. The tenth commandment is a great example of being responsible. If people do something bad they should be responsible for what they did. Some people blame other people and don't say that it was them. It really important to do what is right. It is also important to be respectful and responsible.

This quote means that all the promises you make must be kept. For example if you promise your mom or any family member something, it must be kept. Abraham promised he his mom that he wasn't going to drink whiskey and do tobacco and he kept his promise. There are some people that do break promises.Once they break a promise, its going to be hard to believe in them. There are some people make a promise and then forget about it. When I promise someone something, I keep the promise. If people don't keep a promise then that's messed up because the person is trusting you with the promise. It is always important to choose what is right and keep the promise.

Duties and Responsibilities: Pulmonary Medical Physician are doctors of internal medicine who specialize in the study and treatment of respiratory disease.

Education: In order to become a Pulmonary Medical Physician you need to earn a Bachelor's Degree, apply to medical school,complete a medical school program, complete a residency in internal medicine, pursue specialized pulomonolgy training, obtain a license, and become board certified.

This quote means to always try to do the right thing. For example the lady that paid for peoples parking lot at the hospital. She wasn't told to do that but she wanted to. People that do good things or the right things are the people that have good hearts. An example of someone not doing what is right are the people that go to jail. There are people that murder and they expect not to get sentenced for life. People that do things like that don't have a heart. They don't only hurt the person but they hurt the family of the person they murdered and their own family. They don't see them the same anymore. It's always important to choose and do what is right!

Duties and Responsibilities: Psychologists conduct scientific studies of behavior and brain function. They collect information through observations,interviews, surveys, and other methods. They also research and identify behavioral or emotional patterns.

Education: In order to be a Psychologist you need Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree.

School Break Days

  Some things I did over my spring break I hanged out with my friend and we went to eat. My friend, my friend's sister, and I went to Carl's Jr to eat. One person I met was my friends sister. One movie I watched was The Polar Express. I didn't watch any sports but I played soccer with my little brother. One CTR experience is that I cleaned my house with out being told. I read a chapter from my history textbook and wrote down notes. I did my math homework and my history homework. On Sunday which was Easter my family and I went to my uncles house and got in the pool. The water was really cold but it got warm when I was in the pool for a while.
