Depression

A current health-related issue is depression. Depression is a  common and serious medical illness that negatively affects how you feel, the way you think, and how you act. It causes feelings of sadness or a loss of interest in activities once enjoyed. It can also lead to a change of emotional and physical problems. It can decrease a person's ability to function. There are some people that over think and they get depressed. some lifestyle changes to treat depression are exercise, social support, nutrition, sleep,and stress reduction. This issue is related to me because I have been through that issue and i also had friends that have been through that also and we helped each other out.

Exercise: Regular exercise can be as effective at treating depression as medication.

Social support: Strong social networks reduce isolation, a key risk factor for depression.

Nutrition: eating well is important for both your physical and mental health.

Sleep: Sleep has a strong effect on mood.

Stress Reduction: Makes changes in your life to help manage and reduce stress.
